You Will Be Responsible For:


Demonstrates behaviors at Adventist University of Health Sciences in harmony with the “Four Words” Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship.

 
  • Answers phone, greets visitors and answers basic visitor questions
  • Picks up, delivers department mail
  • Makes copies, performs scanning using “OnBase” scanning software
  • Makes appointments in Outlook
  • Performs data entry, files and types documents
  • Runs errands
  • Organizes and keeps inventory of department supplies
Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Required:
  • Current acceptance as an AHU student
Preferred:
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • People and Service oriented skills
 
Job Summary:

The Student Worker - General Office provides clerical support to academic and clinical departments.   Performs general clerical duties including, but not limited to, reception, answering phones, picking up and delivery of mail, making copies, scanning documents, filing, data entry, typing documents, organizing department supplies, inventory, assembling packets, creating marketing flyers and other projects as assigned. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
