AdventHealth Manchester is looking for a dynamic and energetic Per Diem General Surgeon physician (MD or DO) in beautiful Clay County, Kentucky (about 90 minutes southeast of Lexington).

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Active KY medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)

• Board Certification in General Surgery

• At least 3-5 years of experience

• Comfortable with patients of all ages

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include early morning and/or evening hours

• Interest in the opportunity to advance into leadership and governance roles

• Interest in activities and opportunities for strategy development for general surgery

Practice Description

AdventHealth Manchester is part of the AdventHealth health system, who employs over 700 physicians in 60+ specialties across 9 states across the United States. Our facility is a not-for-profit 49-bed hospital located in Southeast Kentucky serving the communities in Clay, Jackson, Knox, Laurel, Leslie, and Owsley Counties.
