Cardiovascular Sonographer –AdventHealth Medical Group - AHMG Cardiology at Fairbanks

Shift : Monday - Friday, 10 hours days 4 days per week
Location: 1605 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park, FL 32789 (may float to Mills location as needed)
The role you’ll contribute:
Cardiovascular Sonographer can demonstrate proficiency in performing technical imaging procedures in accordance with AdventHealth standards of care. Must be effective communicator with all team members, physicians, patients, families, and other departments. Must demonstrate proficiency in performing cardiac and vascular imaging procedures on all patients.

Follows through with patient care before the procedure as it relates to:
assisting patients with exam preparations
adequately explaining exam to patient
obtaining pertinent history from patient prior to exam
Performs procedure including positioning patient properly in order to visualize
Selects proper transducers for delineation of anatomy/pathology
Systematically coordinators ultrasound procedures with other exams or procedures
Keeps accurate daily patient logs
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Cardiovascular Sonographer educational program
CPR/BLS certified
Must be registered in both cardiac and vascular sonography: RDCS, RCS, or RCCS and RVT or RVS
