You Will Be Responsible For:
Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on beds, stretchers, cribs, air mattress and pumps, patient lifts, pneumatic tube system, nurse call system, televisions, overhead paging system, code blue and other electronic equipment/systems.
Documents pm work orders on forms as required.
Documents all labor in Facilities Department’ database as required.
Adds new equipment to the database correctly and updates equipment information in the database.
Adds pm work orders to the database.
Fills out purchase requisitions for electronics equipment parts and issues parts in the database as required.
Reports unexpected problems with electronics equipment to supervisor.
What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- Two years Electronics Degree or two years’ work-related experience in the electronics field.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED :
- Three years working experience in the electronic field
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :
- Valid Florida Class “E” driver’s license
Performs preventive maintenance for all but not limited to: Fire Alarm, Beds, Stretchers, Cribs, Patient Lifts, Pneumatic Tube System, Overhead Paging and other electronic systems as assigned by superior and work order systems. Maintains documentation as required. Performs maintenance and repair of AdventHealth systems, and other duties as assigned. Must be able to take after hours call duty for the Electronic Systems Department. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
