Shift : Days, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Every other Weekend

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for planning, directing, and managing the activities of the performance improvement program, including all PI activities as well as infection control, staff development, admission and bill review, coding and staff education. Is familiar with AHCA hospice licensure statues, Medicare Conditions of Participation and Joint Commission standards. The PI Coordinator is responsible for chart audits, CMS compliance, tends, staff educational needs. The PI Coordinator monitors, evaluates and implements processes and procedures to improve program outcomes and to meet regulatory, accreditation and standards of practice requirements. The PI Coordinator is responsible for the QAPI program, data collection and benchmarking. The PI Coordinator operates independently under the general supervision of the Hospice Director.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Registered Nurse License required.

• Required-2 years in Healthcare Management and Hospice experience.

• Associate degree preferred.

• Basic Life Support Certification preferred.

• Strongly prefer previous performance improvement experience.

• Strongly prefer 5 years on critical care.

• Maintain a current, valid Florida Driver's License in good standing with a safe driving record and a reliable vehicle.

• Maintain valid personal automobile insurance.
