Location: 901 S. Main Street Ottawa, KS 66067

The role you’ll contribute:

Performs imaging procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including trauma radiography, surgery radiography, CT, and MRI procedures. Assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as needed. Assist radiologist as necessary.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.

• Responsible for safe handling of equipment and films.

• Instructs and prepares patients for roentgenographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.

• Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.

• Programs portable or stationary x-ray machines and makes radiograms for a variety of examinations.

• Processes x-ray film.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School diploma OR equivalent and graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology OR JCERT accredited.

• Associate's degree in related field, Preferred.

• Registrations ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist).

• LRT State of Kansas required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
