The community you’ll be caring for:

AdventHealth Parker is a Level II Trauma Center that serves our community by providing excellent, community-focused health care. Since we opened our doors in 2004, we have grown into a regional medical center. In 2017, we received the designation of a Magnet Recognized Hospital. In 2018, we became one of the only five hospitals in the nation, and the only hospital in Colorado, to receive Joint Commission Certification for Bariatrics. We have 170 Licensed beds, 23 Emergency Department private rooms, and 13 surgical suites.

The role you’ll contribute:

Continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. Responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation. Troubleshoots equipment problems and communicates needs to leader. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of telemetry monitoring system.

  • Responsible for observation and documentation of patient’s cardiac rhythm: every shift, when an arrhythmia occurs, and on each new patient as they are placed on telemetry. RN to co-sign patient’s documented rhythm.

  • Recognizes and notifies RN immediately when life threatening arrhythmia occurs. Promptly responds to all monitor alarms according to department/hospital policy.

  • Documents all communication to care givers.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
