The role you’ll contribute:

Perform specific tasks or routines supportive to delivery of patient care in the assigned nursing

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Assists nurse with assigned patients

• Initiates Advanced Paramedic protocols, i.e. ECG and limited lab, radiology, and medications.

• Performs accurate order entry.

• Executes verbal orders for medications and treatment limited to protocols and during ACLS and PALS codes.

• Provides care to patients in accordance with standards of care:

• Provides assistance with basic hygiene, comfort, and activities of daily living.

• Reports change of condition changes, potential problems or concerns involving the patient or family to the nurse (i.e. vital signs, Intake/Output).

• Completes 12-Lead EKG.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

• High school education or equivalent

• Completion of a formal Paramedic training program

• State of Florida Paramedic License

• AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS
