The role you’ll contribute:

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical operations of their assigned Primary Care Network practice. Provides leadership to clinical team members including medical assistants, LPNs, and the like. The Clinical Supervisor will lead the clinical operations for at least 7 providers. . Responsible for favorable results related throughput, patient experience, provider and staff satisfaction, and value-based care.

· Leads entire team within the practice to focus on service and care excellence.

· Recruits, hires, and onboards team members based on mission, culture, and skills fit.

· Builds and maintains positive, effective relationships with all Physicians and APPs in their location.

· Assesses team members’ clinical competency to complete tasks including but not limited to administering injections, drawing blood, rooming patients, and the like.

· Accountable for smooth, effective financially viable practice operations.

· Ensures workflow optimization and effectiveness for the team which includes Physicians, APPs, and staff. Leads daily, effective huddles (including Daily Management Boards) within the practice.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· High School degree, or GED, and 3 years’ experience working in a medical practice environment in a clinical role.

· Or equivalent experience in a clinical role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

· Associates Degree

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

· Current, valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

· Current State of Florida licensure or registration as an LPN

OR

· Must be currently certified and maintain certification by one of the following:

· American Association of Medical Assistants (“AAMA”) for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)

· American Medical Certification Association (“AMCA”) for Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC)

· American Medical Technologists (“AMT”) for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

· National Association for Health Professionals (“NAHP”) for Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)

· National Center for Competency Testing (“NCCT”) for National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)

· National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

· American Registry of Medical Assistants (“ARMA”)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Leads team of roughly 10 team members and oversees clinical operations of 7 Physicians and APPs
