The role you’ll contribute:

The Talent Acquisition Director oversees recruiting, sourcing, and onboarding teams. Executes effective regional recruiting and national sourcing strategies. Builds and maintains strong partnerships between Corporate Human Resources, field leadership, and Human Resources Shared Services leadership to achieve recruiting goals and ensure alignment with business strategies.

  • Collaborates with Recruiting Senior Managers, Sourcing Managers, other HR Shared Services functional areas and HR Strategic Administration to develop recruitment and sourcing strategies in support of thebusiness requirements

  • Builds partnerships with HR Strategic Services, facility, other HR Shared Services and HR leadership to ensure recruiting, sourcing, and onboarding teams provide the appropriate level of support and optimal value to the organization

  • Provides direction and consultation on strategic and emerging staffing trends and best practices

  • Provides direction in the development of an effective forecasting model for implementing successful recruitment and hiring strategies

  • Develops and monitors appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure results, impact, and cost effectiveness of all programs

  • Maintains relationships with third party vendors

  • Manages and coaches team members to consistently meet departmental goals, effectively communicating roles and performance expectations

  • Collaborates with HR Strategic Administration in creating and executing social media, channel sourcing, and employment branding strategies

  • Actively participates in industry networking activities to develop relationships and identify potential sourcing opportunities

  • Partners with HR leaders and HR Shared Services to foster a team environment promoting open communication

  • Analyzes and reports on recruiting metrics

  • Works with HR Strategic Administration and Legal in monitoring changing government regulations to ensure interview and selection techniques are in compliance with organization policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations

  • Maintains a broad knowledge of company policies and benefit plans

  • Reviews the performance of Talent Acquisition employees; Identifies training needs, corrective requirements, and develops plans of action

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Minimum of ten years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a healthcare environment

  • Minimum of seven years of managerial experience overseeing a staffing administration team

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities within a corporate environment

  • Proficiency in an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Taleo

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Experience with social networking and internet vehicles and tools, such as e-mail, search engines, social media, blogs, job boards and job postings

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation
