The role you’ll contribute:
The CT Supervisor oversees the modality to ensure efficient and effective work flow in the delivery of quality care; maintains adequate staffing levels to accommodate patient volumes while maintaining patient safety.

Encourages positive Standards of Behavior by contributing and promoting positive approaches to inter/intradepartmental relationships on a daily basis; acts as a resource to other modalities during absence of another modality supervisor.
Supervises modality to ensure quality exams are performed per protocol and with attention to radiation dose reduction techniques/standards through PI assignments.
Leads any audit or inspection activities required in the section and ensures all State of Florida, Federal, ACHA, JC, FDA, ACR, OSHA and other standards are maintained.
Conducts orientation of new employees according to the department orientation checklist.
Determines staffing needs, work methods, performance standards and assigns workload taking into consideration assigned routine work shift, environment, and employee knowledge base of equipment and protocols.
Coordinates and enhances the modality’s services by working with the radiologists collaboratively on protocols and procedures to ensure quality processes are maintained; all protocols are reviewed annually.
Ensures quality assurance records and activities are correct, maintained, and documented.
Promotes compliance in universal precautions, infection control, medical records charting/documentation, and patient safety.
Consistently handles concerns of all personnel with a positive approach and performs timely follow up to ensure resolution.
Monitors productivity to staffing ratios and adjusts with volumes to maintain budget guidelines.
Regularly and consistently reviews team member time and attendance; addresses time keeping issues in a timely manner; leads by example in use of electronic time keeping system. Posts work schedule for employees.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Associates degree or technical degree in a related field. Bachelors preferred
Minimum five (5) years hospital-based clinical CT experience
Minimum three (3) years leadership/supervisor experience
ARRT(R)(CT) required
FL CRT license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
