The role you’ll contribute:

Maintains on a daily basis the parking lots, roadways, sidewalks and all trash removal on outside of hospital buildings. Pressure washing on a weekly basis to keep buildings free of debris and bugs. Occasionally picks up orders from vendors. Assist the Maintenance Technician II (Vehicle) on a regular basis.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Responds to work order calls promptly and completes each assignment in a timely manner.

· Performs assigned corrective maintenance.

· Completes preventative maintenance work orders according to scheduled intervals, following procedures and documenting work.

· Daily duties include inspecting grounds and trash removal. Empty, clean and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas

· Reports grounds safety hazards to the supervisor.

· Demonstrates proficiency in maintaining campus grounds in a safe, clean and attractive manner.

· Responds to appropriate codes as assigned.

· Pressure washing outside buildings.

· Wears personal protective equipment when job assigned requires such equipment.

· Follows the Policies and Procedures of the hospital and the EVS department, responds to appropriate codes as assigned.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· High School graduate or G.E.D preferred

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :

· Valid Florida Driver’s License
