The role you’ll contribute:
Reporting to the Fitness Programs Coordinator at the Health & Wellness Center (HWC) at Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel (FHWC), provides swim instruction for the Health & Wellness Center members and guests. The Health & Wellness Center at Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel offers both child and adult swim lessons in an individual as well as group setting. The swim instructor conducts swim lessons that are appropriate for the level and discipline of the individual or group
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Conduct swim lessons on either an individual or group basis.
· Responsible for contacting members who are interested in swim lessons and scheduling them appropriately. Scheduling is done individually by each swim instructor.
· Maintains active certifications through nationally recognized swim instruction associations.
· Instructs individuals and groups in accordance with FHWC and HWC policies and procedures and maintains a friendly and safe environment.
· Represents the Health & Wellness Center in a professional, courteous and enthusiastic manner.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
· Must hold a nationally recognized swim instructor certification.
· At least 1 year experience teaching swim lessons.
· BLS Certification required upon hire.
