The role you’ll contribute:

Exceptional Primary Care for those 65 and older requires an exceptional team. As a Community Engagement Representative you will represent AdventHealth Well 65+ in the local community leading to lead generation, new members, and introducing providers at local events, clubs and organizations catering to the 65+ market to share the value of our primary care practices. In addition, you will design engaging in practice activities to attract our members, and their friends, to join others in getting and staying healthy so they feel whole.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Build and cultivate relationship in the community generating new members by becoming the knowledge expert about the territory in which you represent.

  • Represent AdventHealth Well 65+ with community leaders, associations, and senior focused business.

  • Nurture relationship with prospective members & caregivers, insurance broker partners, community officials, local clubs, and businesses to build awareness of AdventHealth Well 65+ and our providers.

  • Identify and implement community events to engage our members and prospective members. Represent AdventHealth Well 65+ at local functions and events geared for 65+ including, but not limited to, health fairs, chamber events, 65+ communities and other appropriate locations.

  • Design and implement health and wellness activities within the practice community room designed to attract members and nonmembers to the practice with the dual goals of helping to keep our members healthy while attracting new members.

  • Interact and strategize with health plan brokers and representatives to host events and meetings to educate the 65+ population on Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans.

  • Provide Welcome Information Tours at the practices and answer question for prospective member

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

  • 4 years of experience

  • Travel of up to 50% within 10–15-mile practice radius to local events or other practices.

  • Able and willing to work occasional nights and weekends.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience

  • Minimum of 4 years community engagement and/or marketing experience

  • Customer service focused

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing; Communications; Business; or Health Care Administration preferred
