Job Description:
- Adjusts approach based on patient and family understanding of test procedures and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions or patient issues.
- Prioritizes clinical and administrative work independently and identify process improvements. Other duties as assigned.
- Assists physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies.
- Evaluates and documents patient status, responding appropriately to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Demonstrates clinical expertise, competence, and proficiency in all job responsibilities.

• Technical/Vocational School – Graduate of a accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology Required
Work Experience:
• 1+ years of cardiac catheterization lab experience [Preferred]• Special procedures experience, [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required] OR
• Registered Technologist – Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (R.T(CI)(ARRT)) [Required]• Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) [Preferred]• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Preferred]• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
