General Summary:
The PA under the supervision of the Physician, who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for:
- Surgical Assist (Urogynecology Procedures)
- Assist in urogynecology surgical cases including pelvic floor reconstruction, minimally invasive procedures, and bladder/prolapse repairs within the hospital setting
- Assist in Hysterectomies, Hysteroscopies, Bladder and Organ prolapse, Myomectomies, and more
- Orders preoperative and post operative medications as needed
- Collaborates with physician as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support
- Displays a caring and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal and professional growth
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
- Strong communication skills

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Required Education/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant (PA-C) Studies
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
- Current, valid Florida PA
- Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other nationally recognized certification organization
- BLS & ACLS
