Job Description:
- Reviews scheduled patients to ensure educational material, assessments, and pre-surgical care coordination follow timelines and protocols.
- Develops and modifies individual care plans in collaboration with the spine program team.
- Evaluates patients' developmental level, physical and emotional needs, and support system to enhance care and outcomes.
- Completes follow-up assessments, investigates situations, evaluates interventions and medications, and modifies care plans as needed.
- Provides age-appropriate care to spine patients.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Advanced knowledge of adult neuro and orthopedic spine treatment, care, and prevention [Required]
• Ability to collaborate with peers and make changes through influence versus title [Required]
• Able to communicate with patients, family, and staff in a professional, friendly manner [Required]
• Proven working relationship with surgeons. [Required]
• Strong detail-orientation and follow-up capacity. [Required]
• Excellent organizational skills. [Required]
• Aptitude for critical thinking, decision making, and managing multiple competing priorities. [Required]
• Demonstrated success in relationship building. [Required]
• Customer service focused. [Required]
• Strong data analysis skills, requiring interpretation of clinical results to develop program improvement projects. [Required]
Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• N/A
Work Experience:
• 2+ spine or orthopedic care experience [Preferred]
• Experience managing resources in a clinical environment either directly or indirectly. [Required]
• Experience with projects or program start-up [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
