Job Description:
• Provides oversight and direction for the day-to-day organizational operations
• Maintains an organization structure that defines function, working relationship, allocation of resources and communication networks
• Assesses existing and potential systems for effectiveness and formulates recommendations for improvement
• Develops plans of action that establishes objectives, defines strategies and outlines in detail the operational action needed to meet objectives
• Provides or makes provision for a primary contact for medical staff members for operational matters
• Keeps the medical staff informed of significant policy and procedure changes via Executive Committee meetings, General Staff meetings, physician newsletter, or general written correspondence
• Utilized and provides ongoing methods, reports and procedures to continually improve patient and physician service
• Meets or exceeds internal and external benchmarks for clinical measurements and outcomes
• Maintains facilities and equipment in optimal working condition as to present a safe and reliable service to patients and physicians
• Works with CEO and CFO to meet or exceed annual budget. Puts into place corrective action plans in conjunction with CEO and CFO for any area of the organization that deviates from budget for more than 90 days
• Develops monitors and modifies as necessary departmental standards to quantify the level of service being provided to patients and physicians
• Communicates to the appropriate members of the medical staff and team members any operational information that is beneficial to those audiences
• Communicates systematically to the CEO the operational functionality of the organization.
• Systematically reviews and recommends changes if necessary to the CEO on organizational structure to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, safety, service and profitability
• Meets identified objectives and established deadlines on a consistent basis.

• Exceptional leadership and people management skills including decision-making, team building, motivation and conflict resolution. [Required]
• Strong financial skills including budgeting, analyzing, and planning. [Required]
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively express ideas and views through public speaking, presentations, reports and professional correspondence. [Required]
• Strong business acumen, intelligence, and capacity; able to think strategically and implement tactically. [Required]
• Approaches work as an interconnected system. Ability to understand major objectives and break them down into meaningful action steps. [Required]
• Strong organizational abilities and the flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and the various details of the position. [Required]
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office suite. [Required]
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or business administration or related field. [Required]
• Master’s degree in healthcare administration or business administration or related field. [Preferred]
Work Experience:
• Minimum of five (5) years in a senior management position. [Required]
• Healthcare experience. [Required]
• 10 years in a senior management position. [Preferred]
• Clinical experience. [Preferred]
