Job Description:
Up to $10,000 Sign On Bonus
Up to $3,000 Relocation Bonus
Schedule: Weekdays, 4×10 hour shifts (7am-6pm) OR 5×8 hour shifts (10am-7pm). Open to discussion on exact shift times.
Location: East Orlando (7975 Lake Underhill Road, #345, Orlando, FL 32822). Will also be required to support other locations. Innovation Tower (265 E. Rollins Street, Suite 9100, Orlando, FL 32804), Lake Nona (9975 Tavistock Lakes Boulevard, #140, Orlando, FL 32827) and Lake Nona Eagle Creek (13887 Narcoossee Road, Suite 205, Orlando, FL 32832).

Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.

Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing best practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient’s needs.

Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary.

Educates patients and their families about treatment plans and expected outcomes.
-
Collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
-
Documents accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.
-
Provides discharge planning assistance and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and follow-up services.
-
Oversees the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
-
Practices principles of professional development by maintaining clinical competencies, using best and/or evidence-based practices, and serving as a clinical instructor.

Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities.
-
Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
-
Charges patient accurately and timely according to guidelines of the CPT code format and following insurance guidelines.

Maintains productivity standards as defined by the department, through effective time management and clinical efficiency and adjusts work hours to meet the needs of the patients as required.

Willingly adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers/programs as needed.
