Job Description:

Ensures timely and coordinated services throughout the patient’s journey, including diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Facilitates communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care. Provides support and educational services to patients and their families at each stage of care. Monitors patient progress and adjusts care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Addresses any issues or concerns that arise during the patient’s care to maintain high-quality service. Engages with community physicians and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and support for patients. Oversees the entire care process for lung cancer patients, from initial screening to follow-up after treatment. Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent conflict resolution and communication skills and computer proficiency [Required]
• Must have established positive working relations with the medical community [Required]
• Leadership, mentorship/clinical resource skills [Required]
• Ability to multitask on a variety of tasks and projects [Required]
• Must have knowledge of the DNV requirements and local, state and federal regulations [Required]
• Must have knowledge on NCCN, AJCC and other standard oncology clinical management [Required]

Education:

• Associate’s in Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor’s of Nursing [Preferred]
• Master’s in Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 1+ year oncology and/or thoracic experience. [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$68,132.50 – $119,520.35
