Job Description:

Other duties as assigned. Optimize daily operations by proactively managing staffing levels, minimizing food substitutions, and ensuring all service stations remain open and efficient. Oversee food production and service quality by monitoring temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and timely execution of duties, while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Train staff on inspection criteria and safe work practices, including equipment handling, emergency response, and body mechanics, to promote a secure and prepared work environment. Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, patients, and leadership through verbal updates and written documentation, sharing audit results and operational feedback. Manage employee performance, scheduling, and cross-training while minimizing overtime and agency use; support team development through onboarding, mentoring, and improvement initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, and Word [Required]
  • • Ability to train and utilize culinary techniques [Required]
  • • Ability to create, test, scale, follow, read, and write recipes [Required]
  • • Mathematic capabilities commensurate with job responsibilities [Required]

Education:

  • • Associate [Preferred]
  • • Bachelor's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

  • • Culinary Arts Degree (Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts-AA, AS, or AOS)
  • • in Nutrition related field

Work Experience:

  • • 2+ foodservice leadership experience [Required]
  • • 5+ of foodservice management experience [Preferred]
  • • 5+ position-related experience [Required]
  • • Foodservice software applications experience (e.g., CBORD or similar) [Preferred]

Additional Information:

  • • N/A

Licenses and Certifications:

  • • ServSafe Food Protection Manager (CFP) [Preferred]
  • • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) [Preferred]
