AdventHealth Port Charlotte, formerly known as Shorepoint Health Port Charlotte, is a 254-bed full-service hospital accredited by the Joint Commission. Established in 1962 with just 50 beds, it has grown significantly and now employs nearly 800 associates and over 300 physicians. The hospital boasts the only licensed obstetric and pediatric units in Charlotte County, ensuring comprehensive care for families. Serving the communities of Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, Collier, and DeSoto Counties, the hospital offers a wide range of career opportunities for both physicians and non-physician providers, including specialties in OBGYN, general surgery, gastroenterology, and anesthesiology.
