Job Description:

• Performs technical cleaning tasks like mopping and scrubbing floors using appropriate equipment and chemical dilution. Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned. Manages carpet and hard surface floor care, including stripping, refinishing, bonnet cleaning, extraction, and polishing.
• Assists with set-ups and other project-related tasks as needed. Removes and transports soiled linens, trash, infectious waste, and recycling according to departmental policies.
• Maintains required records and information for all regulatory agencies. Performs terminal cleaning of procedural areas to maintain a sterile environment. Cleans and sanitizes walls, vents, ledges, and windows according to established procedures.
• Conducts checkout cleaning in patient rooms, including medical equipment, following departmental policies. Executes daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms to meet patient satisfaction standards.
