Job Description:

The role you’ll contribute:
Provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight of prevention and control. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based strategies to reduce healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), improve patient and employee safety, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements. Performs ongoing surveillance, monitors outbreak reports, and delivers targeted training to healthcare teams to reduce the spread of infectious diseases. Working collaboratively with executive leadership, clinical teams, and community stakeholders, the Executive Director drives innovation, fosters a culture of safety, and promotes best practices that safeguard the health of patients, staff, and the community.
Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Required]
Work Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in Infection Control and Epidemiology [Required]• 4+ years of experience in program development [Required]• 4+ years of leadership experience [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Infection Control Certification (CIC) [Required]• Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) [Preferred]• Certified Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) [Preferred]• Six Sigma [Preferred]
