Job Description:

Location: AdventHealth Kissimmee with occasional travel to Poinciana.

Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, must be flexible for occasional night shift meetings.

• Serves as a consultant to leaders, staff, and physicians within the hospital and community to promote nursing excellence.
• Leverages and expands the current training, achievements, and successes of the organization’s Lean efforts to support shared governance within the organization. Other duties as assigned.
• Provides support with oversight from nursing leadership to maintain and enhance ongoing programs and structures for the Pathway to Excellence initiative.
• Oversees project management activities related to the Professional Excellence Program (PEP), ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.
• Standardizes processes and procedures to support the sustainability of nursing excellence initiatives.
• Facilitates front line employee engagement to promote participation and commitment to nursing excellence initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook programs [Required]• Strong coaching abilities [Required]• LEAN and project management experience [Preferred]

Education:
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

Field of Study:
• of Science in Nursing
• of Science in Nursing

Work Experience:
• 2+ years leadership experience [Required]• 5+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting. [Required]• Experience with Shared Governance, Magnet/Pathway Designation is ideal/

Experience in grant writing or other forms of publications [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]• Six Sigma [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$72,786.83 – $135,385.27
