Job Description:

AHMG Pulmonary at Orlando

1115 E. Ridgewood St., Orlando, FL 32803

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

• Administers respiratory therapy treatments to patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders.

• Evaluates patients' respiratory conditions and develops appropriate treatment plans.

• Operates and maintains respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.

• Monitors patients' responses to therapy and adjusts treatments as necessary.

• Educates patients and their families on respiratory conditions and proper use of equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology [Required]• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems [Required]• Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast-paced environments and effectively apply stress management techniques [Required]• Ability to resolve issues and work independently within the scope of their certification [Required]• Ability to exercise sound judgement, diplomacy and a professional demeanor [Required]

Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study:
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Work Experience:
• Medical office experience [Preferred]

Additional Information:

Licenses and Certifications:
•Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required]
