Job Description:
Millenia Free-Standing ER Highlights:
-
AdventHealth Millenia ER is a 19,000-square-foot, 24-room emergency department that provides a convenient option for area residents to access emergency care close to home from the number one emergency care team in Central Florida.
-
Located adjacent to Interstate 4, the ER will be staffed by a comprehensive clinical team including board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses.

In addition to emergency services, respiratory therapy, diagnostic imaging, and a full-service laboratory will be available and open 24-7.

Our AdventHealth Millenia ER is here to bring comfort, peace of mind and round-the-clock care to the Millenia community.
Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Shift: Days, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (with weekend rotation)
Primary Job Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.

Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.

Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
-
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
What You'll Need to Succeed:

Associate of Science degree in Nursing
-
Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
-
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
-
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
