Job Description:
Responsible for managing Revenue Cycle projects across all phases of the project life cycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and delivery. This position drives alignment with enterprise priorities by developing project plans, managing timelines and resources, and communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership. Collaborates cross-functionally with Process Improvement and Business Support teams, department leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, risk mitigation, and adoption of project outcomes. Additionally, this role supports continuous improvement by applying best practices, leveraging performance metrics, and integrating change management strategies to drive success and sustainability. Ensures adherence to corporate compliance standards and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
- Leads all phases of assigned projects, ensuring clear scope, effective planning, timely execution, and achievement of objectives aligned with organizational priorities.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans, including IT and business deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Monitors project progress, proactively identifies and mitigates risks or roadblocks, and ensures deliverables meet quality, compliance, and performance standards. Communicates project status, decisions, and risks to stakeholders and executive leadership through verbal updates, written documentation, and presentations. Supports change readiness and adoption by collaborating with the Change Management team on communication and impact mitigation strategies.
- Drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce redundancy, and apply best practices across projects.
- Facilitates interdepartmental communication, aligning teams on project updates, resource needs, and future planning activities.
- Maintains documentation and ensures compliance with AdventHealth project management standards, policies, and quality procedures.
- Stays current on project management trends and tools, incorporating new methodologies (e.g., Agile, automation, data analytics) into project practices. Conducts risk assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies to inform recommendations and optimize project viability and value.
- Coordinates cross-functional collaboration with departments and PI & Business Support teams—including Analytics, Automation, Education, Subject Matter Expert, Vendor Management, and Change Management—for seamless execution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Comprehensive knowledge of project lifecycle and associated processes and methods [Required]• Comfortable in leading and presenting project material to various levels of leadership [Required]• Strong leadership, organizational, problem solving, and planning skills [Required]• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English, both verbally and in written form [Required]• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, etc.) and collaboration tools [Required]• Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices [Required]• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various groups and departments [Required]• Ability to adapt to change, balance priorities, and use suitable judgement [Required]• Ability to effectively learn and perform multiple tasks, and organize work in a systematic and efficient manner [Required]• Working knowledge of front, middle, and back-end Revenue Cycle technology and processes [Required]
• Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills [Required]
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork [Required]• Knowledge of budget planning, including budget to actual variance analysis for projects [Preferred]• Knowledgeable of change management processes [Preferred]• Knowledgeable of Lean Six Sigma Processes [Preferred]
Education:
• Associate [Required]• Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, information technology, or related field [Required]• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, information technology, or related field [Preferred]
Work Experience:
• 2+ years of project management or related experience [Required]• 2+ years of Revenue Cycle or Healthcare experience [Required]
• 1+ year of leadership experience [Required]
• 1+ year of change management experience [Preferred]
• 1+ year of Lean Six Sigma Experience [Preferred]
Additional Information:
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
- Associate's Degree OR 2+ years of project management or related experience [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (CSSGB) [Preferred]• Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP) [Preferred]• Project Management Professional (PMP) [Preferred] OR Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) [Preferred]
