Job Description:

• Location: Sports Med & Rehab at East Orlando 7975 Lake Underhill Rd., Suite 345, Orlando, FL  32822
•  Could also travel to: Sports Med and Rehab clinics in Winter Park, Lake Nona, Waterford Lakes, Innovation, Lake Mary
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $25/hour.

• Practices principles of employee and patient safety during daily job activities. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.

• Implements individualized treatment plans based on physical therapy evaluations and through consideration of practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.

• Modifies treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments in consultation with physical therapist.

• Collects patient data and communicates with the physical therapists regarding discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved.

• Documents patient care accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines, and department/hospital policies.

• Associate's [Required]

Field of Study:

• in Physical Therapy Required

Work Experience:

• Experience with treating Ortho Physical Therapy

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND

•Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) [Required] OR

• Physical Therapy Assistant – TEMP (PTA-TEMP) [Required]
