Job Description:

Guide team members in performing data entry and computer-based tasks, including taking patient menu selections and resolving inquiries from patients, nurses, and physicians with professionalism and accuracy. Manage inventory levels of patient menus and office supplies, proactively identifying needs to maintain efficient and uninterrupted service delivery. Oversee the consistent updating of patient menus to reflect changes in diet orders, discharges, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Lead the application of therapeutic and regular diet knowledge to ensure accurate menu planning and nutritional support across patient services. Coordinate the timely communication of dietary consults, referrals, and updates with the Nutrition Services Team to promote seamless, patient-centered care. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills [Required]• Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office applications [Required]• Ability to apply therapeutic diet parameters [Required]• Ability to use common software applications and hardware (e.g., iPad, ToughBook) [Required]• Ability to complete multiple detail-oriented tasks/responsibilities in a time-sensitive environment [Required]• Able to communicate in both English and Spanish [Preferred]
