AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an experienced Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our collaborative and growing critical care team along Florida’s beautiful Atlantic coast.
This nocturnal position offers the opportunity to care for complex, critically ill neurological patients while working closely with an on-site attending intensivist in a closed ICU environment. You will be joining a well-established and collaborative critical care program consisting of:
- 10 Intensivist Physicians
- 12 Advanced Practice Providers
Our team provides advanced care to critically ill patients across several ICU locations including:
- 32-bed closed Medical/Surgical ICU – AdventHealth Daytona Beach
- 14-bed CVICU – AdventHealth Daytona Beach
- 18-bed closed Medical/Surgical ICU – AdventHealth Palm Coast
- 10-bed closed Medical/Surgical ICU – AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway
As the night Critical Care APP, you will work collaboratively with the overnight intensivist to provide comprehensive ICU care including the management of complex neurological conditions requiring critical care monitoring and intervention.
Schedule:
7 on / 7 off schedule – 182 Shifts a year
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
This schedule offers excellent work-life balance with built-in time off every other week.

We are seeking a provider who is:
- Experienced in critical care or neurocritical care
- Comfortable performing ICU procedures
- A strong team collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- DEA License (or ability to obtain)
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
