Overview
AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and energetic Neonatologist to join our expanding team at AdventHealth Ocala. This role will lead care in a Level 2 NICU with strong support from in-house neonatal nurse practitioners and seamless access to quaternary care at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando. Located just over an hour northwest of Orlando, Ocala offers a vibrant community, affordable living, and access to Florida’s natural beauty — ideal for both professional and personal life.
Position Highlights:
- 12-bed Level 2 NICU and Newborn Nursery service
- Approximately 2,500 deliveries per year
- 24/7 in-house NNP support
- Program designed for two full-time neonatologists
- Supported by AdventHealth for Children’s quaternary care NICU and dedicated neonatal transport team
- Part of a larger regional network with approximately 15,000 births annually
- Access to experienced pediatric subspecialists

- Board-certified in Pediatrics
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- A clinician passionate about delivering high-quality, family-centered neonatal care

- Eligible for Florida medical license

Requirements:
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
