Job Description:
-
Collaborates with operational leaders and department colleagues to gather necessary information.
-
Implements changes to contract development processes and templates as needed.
-
Performs other duties as assigned. Utilizes contract life cycle workflow systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
-
Ensures compliance with legal and organizational standards in all agreements and documents.
-
Maintains organized records of all agreements and related documents.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Exceptional organizational skills
-
Thorough working knowledge of computer software used to perform clerical related tasks, including word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, document management, electronic mail
-
Ability to work in a sensitive and confidential environment
-
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as demonstrated by a complete application/resume, work history and interview process
-
Ability to work successfully in an extremely busy environment
Education:
-
Associate [Required]
-
Bachelor's [Preferred]
Work Experience:
-
5+ clerical experience [Required]
-
5+ working with a corporate healthcare attorney, preferably in a hospital setting [Preferred]
-
5+ having worked directly with a corporate healthcare attorney or in litigation as legal secretary or legal assistant [Required]
Additional Information:
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
– Associates degree and 5+ years of experience OR
– High School Grad and 7+ years of experience
Licenses and Certifications:

Certified Paralegal (CP) [Preferred]
