Job Description:

Work Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm, rotating weekends

Sign on bonus: $10,000

• Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions.
• Demonstrating critical thinking skills, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations.
• Fostering a culture of psychological safety, where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to speak up, share concerns, and contribute meaningfully.
• Promotes evidence-based practice, ensuring quality outcomes, and fostering a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous learning.
• Provides ongoing education and training to nursing staff to maintain high competency levels.
• Prepares the unit for audits and surveys, by monitoring and maintaining unit compliance with regulatory standards, accrediting, hospital policies while coordinating staff education to maintain competencies and preparedness.
• Manages nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.
• Conducts regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns and provide guidance.
• Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing service programs to ensure quality nursing and patient care.
• Manages budgets and resources efficiently to meet financial and operational goals. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Thorough understanding of hospital policies, procedures and legal aspects of acute care nursing [Required]• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]• Basic computer skills, including experience with an Electronic Health Record [Required]• Five or more years of current clinical experience [Preferred]• Cerner documentation [Preferred]

Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

Field of Study:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• In Nursing

Work Experience:
• 5+ current clinical [Preferred]• 5+ hospital experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]• Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) [Preferred]• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) [Preferred] 

Pay Range:

$32.48 – $60.42
