AdventHealth Waterman and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida.
This opportunity offers full-scope Neurosurgery within a supportive, integrated health system, with access to strong clinical infrastructure, multidisciplinary support, and cross-coverage from other local AdventHealth surgeons.

- Full-scope Neurosurgery
- Mix of craniotomy, spinal cases, and minimally invasive surgery
- Open surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve
- New microscope on site
- Stryker Navigation
- Not a trauma center
- No trauma call
- Cross-coverage support from other local AdventHealth surgeons
- APP support in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Outpatient and inpatient Neurology presence on site
- Primary practice location at AdventHealth Waterman, a 300-bed campus

Practice Environment
This is an employed opportunity with AdventHealth Medical Group. The aligned practice model and practice management support allow physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine while benefiting from the infrastructure and resources of an integrated health system.

AdventHealth Waterman provides the clinical infrastructure to support Neurosurgery, including:
- 24/7 ICU coverage
- Inpatient and outpatient Neurology
- Imaging, laboratory, and surgical services
- State-of-the-art facility and equipment
- Critical care transport team
- AdventHealth flight team
- Telemedicine for stroke
- Specialty physician offices and multidisciplinary support
AdventHealth Waterman is located in Tavares, Florida, approximately 35 miles northwest of Orlando in scenic Lake County.
The area offers a relaxed Central Florida lifestyle surrounded by approximately 1,400 lakes, with abundant opportunities for fishing, boating, and water recreation.
