Job Description:
Informs Facilities Director and/or Manager of potential issues interfering with project completion and advises on equipment breakdowns or failures. Establishes and maintains courteous, cooperative relations when interacting with vendors, contractors, and hospital employees. Demonstrates proper care of the hospital’s environment during projects and responds to work orders promptly and efficiently. Performs assigned corrective maintenance, wears personal protective equipment when required, and demonstrates proficiency in operation and maintenance of all installed equipment. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Coordinates all engineering projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager or Director of Facilities. Acts as a site coordinator for construction and renovation projects, obtaining estimates from vendors. Participates in planning and design of projects, coordinating all meetings with vendors, contractors, and hospital employees. Coordinates activities of contract/vendor personnel working on-site and prepares daily project status summary reports. Manages projects to ensure they are on schedule and within budget at all times. Maintains all drawings and construction documents/files in an organized system. Completes and oversees ICRA requirements and designs and implements Interim Life Safety measures as necessary. Responds to project concerns/complaints promptly and efficiently, achieving appropriate solutions.

• Able to communicate in English [Required]• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
