Job Description:
- Role will include a variation of Personal training, Instructor and Certified Exercise Tech.
- Schedule: Flexible, no Holidays no weekends, further schedule to be discussed during interview
- Assists members by correcting exercise techniques and ensuring safety during free weight use.
- Communicates continually with members on the exercise floor, encouraging and motivating them.
- Listens and responds appropriately to member concerns, complaints, and suggestions.
- Cleans equipment and inspects it for safety on a daily basis.
- Assists with community, corporate, and employee wellness health screenings.
- Participates in all special promotions, incentive, and motivational programs.
- Conducts center tours for visitors and provides a complete explanation of services.
- Assists members in freezing, canceling, or activating memberships in accordance with department policies.
- Confirms that all new members or guests have completed and signed paperwork.
- Maintains an organized and clean membership counter area and work station.
- Answers telephones, accurately records, and forwards messages.
- Assesses members' pulse upon request.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
