Job Description:
Grow with us. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria.
Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Develop and implement service programs by assessing patient needs, setting goals, and outlining interventions to ensure quality nursing and patient care.
-
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health, including medical history, physical exams, and interviews with patients and families.
-
Develop individualized care plans by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
-
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, performing medical procedures as prescribed.

Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to adjust care plans and improve service programs based on data and feedback.
-
Educate and train nursing staff on new service programs, protocols, and best practices to maintain high standards of care.
-
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care plans.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies by adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.

Engage in continuous quality improvement activities by identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in electronic medical records, ensuring timely and precise entries.
-
Adhere to professional standards by following established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, maintaining a professional rapport with all team members.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Thorough understanding of hospital policies, procedures, and legal aspects of acute care nursing [Required]

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]

Basic computer skills, including experience with an Electronic Health Record [Required]

Cerner documentation [Preferred]

Collaborates effectively with management, nurse leadership, and ancillary department staff to refine departmental goals, resolve patient care problems, and integrate nursing within the healthcare delivery system [Required]

Demonstrates clear and concise communication about patient care to healthcare team members and collaborates with physicians concerning patient care [Required]

Empowers and supports staff in educational endeavors for career growth and participates in clinical collaboration, preceptorship programs, and professional development planning [Required]

Exhibits leadership qualities consistent with organizational philosophy and goals, including modeling critical thinking skills, serving as a resource for employees, and demonstrating dependability and punctuality [Required]

Demonstrates knowledge of state and federal regulations, updating departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance, supervising unit personnel, and managing budget and resources efficiently [Required]
