Job Description:
Grow with us. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria.
Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.
Assist with newborn care at deliveries, providing immediate care and support to newborns during and after delivery. Maintain skills in neonatal resuscitation to respond effectively in emergencies. Demonstrate assessment skills in high and low-risk obstetrical patients to identify potential risks and health issues. Identify and report maternal and newborn problems to the physician promptly. Assist with the transfer of newborns to other facilities when indicated, ensuring safe and efficient transfers. Accurately identify and band newborns, mothers, and significant others to prevent mix-ups. Document all care activities accurately, including band identification numbers in medical records. Provide care during obstetrical surgical procedures, assisting in the Labor & Delivery Operating Suite. Perform intraoperative and post-anesthesia care according to established standards. Conduct steam sterilization processing for instruments and supplies, ensuring all sterilization parameters are met. Provide emotional support for grieving parents, offering compassionate support and connecting them with appropriate support groups. Educate and support families about newborn care, health conditions, and post-discharge care.

- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 1+ Labor and delivery nursing experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
