Job Description:

  • Streamlines processes to align with the High-Reliability Framework domains of Leadership, Culture, Knowledge, and Learning Systems.
  • Innovates and collaborates in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of High-Reliability training and the High-Reliability Culture Program.
  • Works with the operational team to implement the framework for high-reliability healthcare in work units throughout the organization.
  • Identifies best practices and shares them across the care continuum.
  • Applies change management principles for successful participation and achievement of initiatives.
  • Identifies and assesses areas of opportunity within each market and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Provides support for local implementation and evaluation of the High-Reliability Culture program.
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively with facility leaders to ensure success.
  • Mentors and supports the training of facility leaders and staff on Digital Learning Boards (DLB), High-Reliability Culture, High-Reliability Organization (HRO) concepts, and process improvement.
  • Influences facilitators, leadership, and frontline staff to facilitate understanding of their role in creating a Just Culture to achieve high reliability.
  • Supports clinical program development for each segment of the High-Reliability Culture program, including standardization of Safety Huddles and implementation of digital learning boards.
  • Supports development and deployment of training materials for the High-Reliability Culture program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to motivate others toward common objectives. [Required]
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives. [Required]
  • Demonstrates knowledge and use of effective performance improvement and change management techniques with the ability to lead the implementation of new models and ensure the goals are achieved. [Required]
  • Demonstrates exceptional analytical and process-oriented skills in assessing an organization’s performance. [Required]
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based applications. [Required]
  • Exercises sound judgment while coaching local managers on how to navigate barriers to achieve success and encourage independent problem-solving. [Required]
  • Create internal strengths in Units to allow them to sustain and grow their expertise using DLBs and applying HRO Principles to everyday activities. [Required]
  • Highly engaged, energetic, and focused. [Required]
  • Ability to understand major objectives and break them down into meaningful action steps. [Required]
  • Able to work independently, shows initiative, acts proactively to address issues or concerns, and is able to meet timelines. [Required]
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate well with team members at all levels of the organization. [Required]

Education:

  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

  • in nursing or allied health-related field

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of healthcare leadership experience [Required]
  • 2+ years of process improvement or change management experience [Required]
  • 5+ years in a healthcare organization [Required]
  • Experience in presenting before an audience and adapting their communication style to the audience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
