Job Description:
Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition. Other duties as assigned. Coordinates and performs electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations. Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems, overseeing essential repairs and other duties as requested. Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures, under limited guidance. Monitors work performed by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and results are documented properly. Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Responds to emergency calls in accordance with facility needs. Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities. Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services. Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Remains current on maintenance logs and documentation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to perform electrical equipment maintenance, installations and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations [Required]
- Ability to assist in contributing to system training manuals and upgrades as changes occur [Required]
- Able to communicate in English [Required]
- Must have the ability to document records neatly and accurately [Required]
- Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies [Required]
- Ability to assign priority and teams in a timely manner [Required]
- Ability to instruct others as per blueprints and work from sketches [Required]
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form [Required]
- Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals [Required]
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist [Required]
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes [Required]
- Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment [Required]
- Basic Microsoft office computer skills [Required]
Education:
- High school/equivalent grad or 5+ years experience [Required]
- Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- Education or GED
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience [Required]
- 2+ years of healthcare maintenance [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Driver's License (DL) [Required]
