Job Description:

Performs other duties as assigned. Works in the clinic as a patient registration coordinator when there is a lack of trainees or education projects. Partners with system Educators and coordinates training schedules and training for new hires. Supports trainee on-site (in clinic) and orients them to the roles and responsibilities. Supports Educators with ongoing training for all front-end staff, including system training, customer service training, insurance training, report training, posting training, eligibility verification, and reconciliation. Collaborates with Educators, Managers, and Directors on scheduling quarterly education meetings with their assigned locations. Works with Patient Experience to ensure front-line staff is trained on patient experience and other culture of excellence goals. Assists with trainings to improve upfront collections, accuracy reports, and other fiscal-related goals impacted by front desk accuracy in registering patients. Monitors centers’ dashboards for the region and supports Director/Manager in ongoing front-line training goals. Reviews registration errors with Educators and implements action plans to eliminate misunderstandings on data input. Communicates effectively (verbally and in writing) with all levels of employees, facilitates group processes, and manages change. Monitors the new team members’ growth and development for the first 90 days under the direction of the Education leader. Assists with new center openings by setting up clinics, including multi-state travel as needed.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Possesses knowledge of adult learning styles and training delivery to support Urgent Care including EHR systems.
• Demonstrates ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinator, monitor and evaluate) within an ambulatory healthcare environment.
• Demonstrates ability to develop/make effective presentations and serve as a trainer.
• Displays knowledge and skills necessary to deliver quality educational instruction to all levels of staff in a clear and concise manner.
• Possesses ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with all levels of employees, facilitate group processes and change.
• Demonstrates ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Excels at prioritization and coordination of multiple projects.
• Communicates strong understanding of applicable policies and procedures.
• Experienced in application of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of/experience with NextGen and Cerner Preferred.
