Job Description:

• Conducts advanced surveillance, epidemiologic analysis, and risk assessments to detect infection trends, outbreaks, and process gaps.
• Utilizes data analytics, statistics, and visualization tools to communicate findings and support data-driven decisions. Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates financial acumen by contributing to IPC-related business cases and product evaluations.
• Participates in and leads research, quality improvement, and scholarly dissemination activities, including publications, presentations, and protocol development.
• Provides direct supervision and development of Infection Preventionist(s) at the facility level.

Education:
• Bachelor’s health science, healthcare delivery, public health, laboratory science, or related field. [Required]• Master’s health science, healthcare delivery, public health, laboratory science, or related field. [Preferred]

Work Experience:
• 3+ experience in clinical setting, infection control or public health [Required]• 3+ experience in infection control practice is essential. experience in hospital infection prevention with a minimum of three (3) years experience in acute/critical care and/or other infection prevention/epidemiology field. [Required]• 3+ working knowledge of general hospital operations, osha, tjc and other state and federal regulatory requirements. [Required]
