About AdventHealth Daytona Beach
At AdventHealth Daytona Beach, we provide whole-person care in a supportive, faith-based environment. Our Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment caring for patients after advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic team.
Position Highlights:
- Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, day shifts only (6a–6p) for excellent work-life balance.
- Manage post-operative cardiac patients including CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO/Impella)
- Perform assessments, order/interp diagnostics, and develop treatment plans for critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Procedures may include central line placement, arterial line placement, intubation, dialysis line placement, and other bedside interventions (as credentialed).

About Daytona Beach:
Nestled along Florida’s Atlantic Coast, Daytona Beach offers miles of beaches, outdoor recreation, and cultural activities. With easy access to Orlando and Jacksonville, it’s an ideal location for both work and play.
- Master’s Degree as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Current Florida license (or ability to obtain)
- National board certification (ACNP preferred for NPs)
- Minimum 1–2 years of CVICU, cardiothoracic, or critical care APP experience preferred (strong ICU background considered)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
