Pediatrician – AdventHealth The Villages at Middleton

Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatrician to join a new multispecialty practice located in The Villages, Florida at Middleton opening in quarter 4 of 2026. This new practice will provide needed access to families in the area who are currently traveling long distances for Pediatric Primary Care. The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure) 
• Board Certification in Pediatrics (or Board Eligibility if less than 3 years out of training) 
• Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C) 
• Prior experience with opening and growing a new office 

Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations per AAP guidelines, CLIA waived labs

Physician Expectations: 

• Shared practice call coverage for evenings and weekends 
• Ability to work a set schedule, which may include early morning and/or evening hours to meet patient needs
