Job Description:

Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans, including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency. Documents all proceedings accurately to ensure program quality and meet hospital and department standards. Records additional pertinent information such as medical history in notes and other appropriate forms at the time of occurrence. Maintains area-specific productivity standards and markets the massage program in the hospital, community, and to medical personnel as indicated. Monitors and communicates supplies needed for job tasks to the designated person. Maintains a professional and functional work environment by keeping equipment and work areas clean, appropriately stocked, and orderly. Assists with business office and tech job duties as required. Utilizes knowledge of growth and development for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric groups by assessing, treating, educating, and communicating age-specific factors. Discharges patients when maximum benefit is achieved or according to standards of practice and payer guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Charges patients accurately and in a timely manner. Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Entry level clinical competency of Massage therapy, specific practice, theory, principles, and application [Required]
• Basic computer skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Windows [Required]
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]

Education:

• Technical/Vocational School [Required]

Field of Study:

• Massage Therapy

Work Experience:

• 1+ year providing massage therapy in a licensed environment [Preferred]

• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) [Required]
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$19.23 – $30.77
