Job Description:

  • Oversees daily operations of Cardiovascular practices and diagnostic testing centers.
  • Manages facility renewals and maintains accreditations for diagnostic centers. Optimizes patient care access and collaborates with other departments to resolve access issues.
  • Manages schedules, certifications, and ensures timely submission to compliance and credentialing.
  • Approves timecards, tracks paid time off, leave days, and continuing medical education time for payroll.
  • Participates in meetings on operational matters, strategic planning, and conflict resolution.
  • Anticipates and navigates operational crises effectively. Submits timesheets and handles new hire/termination forms for human resources.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Leads the day-to-day operations and finances of assigned Cardiovascular practices and aligns these initiatives with the strategic vision of AdventHealth Medical Group to promote overall practice growth and development. [Required]• Works to create an environment of efficient Cardiovascular practice operations in cooperation with the appropriate support systems to provide timely and accurate information as needed. [Required]• Maintains working knowledge of Cardiovascular industry trends, legislation, and regulatory standards, related to practice operations. [Required]• Reviews and evaluates the performance of practices and provides relevant information to leadership. [Required]• Must possess a thorough knowledge of the revenue cycle management process, of governmental and compliance requirements as well as fiscal management. [Required]• Responsible for ensuring the consistent and appropriate interpretation, evaluation and application of the policies and procedures as established by AdventHealth Medical Group. [Required]• Promotes and develops effective and efficient communication strategies to promote a positive work environment and optimal operational workflow. [Required]• Maintains a process of consistent accountability by providing effective leadership and direction to office managers and staff, as well as promoting effective customer service strategies. [Required]• Aligns with peer Administrators to identify challenges in the environment, opportunities for improvement and items requiring intervention as appropriate. [Required]• Proactively facilitates and manages change to foster employee and leadership acceptance and support. [Required]• Supports the optimal operational workflow of practices through cooperation, collaboration, communication, and flexibility with support departments on their behalf. [Required]

Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]• Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:
• in health, business administration, other relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• in healthcare, business, or related field.

Work Experience:
• 5+ experience in cardiovascular group practice administration [Required]• Experience with budgetary finance and accounting skills with regards to practice management and operations. [Required]• Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems [Required]• Practical knowledge and experience in working with practice management software systems with the ability to direct workflow to optimize operations. [Required]• Proficient experience in Cardiovascular coding guidelines, reimbursement procedures, medical records management, and effective practice operations. [Required]
