Job Description:

Administers medications and treatments based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision. Delivers and assesses patient response to ordered therapy. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition. Provides patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment. Assists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Manages inventory and ensures regulatory compliance. Participates in patient care interactions under pharmacist supervision. Performs duties necessary for effective daily operation of department services and programs. Responds accurately to medication dispensing requests and prepares medications for pharmacist review. Delivers checked medications and returns unused or expired medications to appropriate pharmacy areas. Participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships. Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Skills to maintain effective working relationships with health professionals and others to create an environment that is conductive to carrying out the mission of the facility. [Required]• General knowledge of emergency equipment and supplies. [Required]
