AdventHealth Ottawa, a leading faith based not for profit health system, is searching for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work at our AdventHealth Ottawa Behavioral Health clinics.
About our Opportunity:
- Collaborate with Primary Care and Behavioral Health providers to manage psychotropic medications and address community behavioral health needs.
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status exams
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based practices
- Participate in care coordination and treatment planning
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis and treatment
- Support integrated behavioral health models within primary care settings as applicable

- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Locations: AH Ottawa and AHMG Wellsville
- EMR – Epic
- Base Salary (Exempt)

Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills

The requirements for this position are:
- Masters – Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- At least 2 years psychiatry experience
- ACLS and BLS obtained through the American Heart Association
- DEA License
