Job Description:

Location: 2415 N. Orange Ave Suite 600 Orlando, FL

• Facilitates evaluations for potential VAD recipients by identifying candidates, reviewing medical records, and compiling tests.
• Documents comprehensive clinical assessments, including diagnostic testing and functional status.
• Participates in team meetings, patient review committees, interdisciplinary rounds, and discharge planning sessions.
• Monitors post-VAD and heart function according to established protocols.
• Provides clinical support to VAD patients, coordinating with hospital nursing staff, VAD RNs, and the perfusion team.

Education:

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

• Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 1+ of critical care or palliative care experience for patients with life-limiting or life-threatening illness [Preferred]

• 1+ of experience of advanced heart failure or post-operative cardiovascular experience [Required]

• 1+ of teaching/preceptor experience [Preferred]

• 1+ of ventricular assist device experience [Preferred]

• 2+ of experience in an acute care setting within the last three years [Required]

Pay Range:

$72,189.82 – $134,259.75
